The audience is welcomed at a noble court or a lavish banquet, or can chat with the nobility in their residence.

Historic Collar-Making Workshop
In our historic collar-making workshop, you can see how collars were created in times past—from the making of the lace and the sewing of the collars themselves to the starching and pleating processes.
The period represented is approximately 1620–1630, allowing us to demonstrate the creation of both flat collars and ruffs.
Visitors can also try their hand at bobbin lace-making.
Historical Tailor’s Workshop
Clothes make the man—or so it was in days gone by. While women might handle alterations, the tailor was, by definition, a man.
Come and watch the tailor at work and learn more about this ancient craft. You can also try your hand at bobbin lace-making here.
The Historical Banquet: Dining in the 15th, 16th, or 17th Century (Tasting Experience)
In an atmospheric historical setting, various sample dishes and ingredients are displayed. There are also dishes available to taste (while supplies last). The experience can be tailored regarding the era (15th, 16th, or 17th century), the type of food (luxury fare versus food for the common people), and the setup (a small stall with a canopy or a larger setup featuring the "In den Vliegende Fazant" tavern).
Chef Sacha Husken (Toen Ter Tafel) speaks enthusiastically about the cuisine of the period and takes visitors on a culinary journey through time.
Punch & Judie Candy Store
All kinds of treats are available in this nostalgic candy shop. From candy canes and cinnamon sticks to buttercream sweets and liquorice allsorts—yet nothing is for sale... In this shop, the sweets can only be won! Try your luck, spin the wheel of treats, and win a delicious sugary snack... everyone’s a winner!

“From Paper to Splendid Collar”
Especially for children (and, of course, those who are still young at heart), our mobile studio offers the chance to create a collar using a somewhat more modern and quicker method than was customary in the past.
At “From Paper to Splendid Collar,” you cut out your own collar and can show it off right away.
